Faere Warrior: Passion's Price Pt 3

Hmm, well we already know there's more to Keegan than meets the eyes. Apparently Salena has an unusual secret as well.  I swear she doesn't look a day over 25!  Poor Kyle, he has no idea what kind of mess he's walked into. As if the contract with the Fae weren't enough he's walked into the proverbial fire.

Passion's Price Pt 3

The Night Shift

Keegan stretched and smiled. Salena was an amazing lover. She matched him move for move, and even bettered him a few times he’d have to admit. She might make this assignment tolerable after all. Dealing with Lee was worth it if he could counter it with Salena.

She was like no other women he’d known. Her dark features striking, her deep brown eyes were sultry yet demure, and her body was divine. He reached for her without opening his eyes only to find there was nothing there. He sat up abruptly, disappointed that she had gone. Keegan raked his fingers through his disheveled hair while searching the room hoping that just maybe she was still here.

He spotted the folded note on the nightstand, and knew. He swung his legs down, reaching for the note at the same time.

“Thanks for the best time I’ve had in ages. Hope to run into you again.”

                                                                  Salena M.

“Bloody hell!” He made his way to the bathroom grumbling. He’d lay odds Lee had something to do with it.

                 *                              *                                    *                                 *

It had been a week; no sign of Salena at the club, at any local restaurant, not even at the gas station. Keegan was a brooding mess by the time he settled into his apartment.

“She’s just a female, get over her arsehole.” Lee threw the insult at him like a ball of fire.

“Shut it.” Keegan was in no mood to hear Lee’s insults.

“Was it that you haven’t had any for so long that you were so grateful to the whore for giving you a mercy fuck? Or that you’re actually the brood mare.” Lee walked in a slow arrogance, sauntering across the floor without any cares.

Keegan jumped up from his plush chair, and slammed Lee to the ground. “I said shut the fuck up you arsehole.” He threw a punch that if Lee had been human would have broken his nose. “I doon expect ya to understand ya heartless fairy.” Keegan was bent over him, his face close to Lee’s.

With a blast of force, Lee threw Keegan off, into the far wall as bones cracked, Keegan sliding down the wall into a heap. He lay there for a few seconds his chest rising and falling before endeavoring to rise. Slowly, Keegan pushed himself up, twisting his neck popping, then rotating his shoulders popping then adjusting his back as a series of loud grating, popping noises could be heard.

“Pathetic human. You’re no match for me.” Lee sent another force in thought that slammed him back into the wall.

Keegan squirmed against the force trying to break free to no avail.

“Good, now that we understand each other. You’ve got work to do. Quit sulking over the female, there are hundreds more for Danaa’s sake.” He sent a piercing pain through Keegan's right shoulder.

Keegan clenched, but didn’t utter a sound.

“Save your fight for my dark brethren. The elders report there is an open portal that hundreds are streaming through. If you’re done with your little sulk, you have a contract to uphold.”

“I dinna sign your fuckin’ contract. I do it to honor my fatha.”

Lee chuckled. “Yes well, . . . one way or the other you have a job to do.” He picked up the Sword of Light and placed it in Keegan’s hand and winked. “Get on with it.” At that he sifted Keegan to the location of the portal.

Keegan found himself at steel doors at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. To the right of the door was a cleft in the rock, where the stone was crumbling away. As he stood, three Dark Fae wriggled their slimy bodies through the opening, making their hideous screeching sounds.

“Oh bloody hell! He set to work, just before a horde of them began to emerge from the small cavern hidden by the crumbling wall. Keegan knew his job well. He performed the skilled ballet of a seasoned warrior with the grace and ease that would have been expected from a smaller man instead of one of his massive size. The slightest touch from the Sword of Light sent them back through the portal, squealing that ear splitting screech they had.

He had to pursue some up the hill, towards the bridge then noticed about a dozen climbing along the chains on the underside of the bridge. “Damn!” He took off after them. Climbing was his least favorite, and the under structure of a bridge had been his demise thrice already. Thank the Fae for their healing powers, he’d been revived and had some of their Fae magic coursing through his veins giving him a form of immortality. As he climbed the super structure he spotted a figure clad in black climbing steadily about 500 feet ahead of him. It was a slayer.

It had been some time since he'd run across a slayer, since his first Fae round up in France ten years ago. As he climbed faster he noticed the sleek grace this slayer had, a confidence in their movements, a reserved power of ease in their style. He almost admired the slayer’s form, except they aided the enemy. Slayers actually aided the dark Fae. A deception spoken to an elite sect of warriors, in a time when battles had lessened on earth was easily grasped with manifestations of the dark Fae creatures that emerged before them. By destroying the Fae however, it upset the delicate balance that had to be maintained to keep the wards between the realms.

He seemed to move slow and sluggish as he watched the first two creatures drop, changing to a human form in midair before they fell into the waters below. He was too far away, Keegan couldn’t get to this slayer in time without a boost of Fae magic. He spoke the words and touched his gold torque, and was suddenly thrust in front of the slayer. His sword tip brushed three of the Fae, causing them to nearly dissolve into a black hissing mist, that trailed back inside the cavern. He rushed ahead, in order to reach the remaining Fae before the slayer.

When He had sent the last one screeching towards the cavern he turned to deal with the slayer. The slayer froze before him, crouched with a catlike grace, then bolted back to the shore swinging with ridiculous ease to he shore.

By the time Keegan had both feet planted firmly on Terra firma; the slayer had long since bolted, speeding off on a black bike. He had one answer at least. He walked to the wall where the stones crumbled and began the chant to close the portal. He knew it would be temporary until he could find the source that opened the portal in the first place.

Tears Before Bedtime

This is a continuation of my last post and it should lead to something more I hope, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do writing it.

Tears Before Bedtime
by
Ben Hannigan

Dear Diary,

So the last message I wrote left me curled up in a ball, in tears, terrified that I had destroyed a friendship, and also kissed goodbye to a job that I wanted to turn into a career. It was three in the morning and I still hadn’t slept a wink. I heard a knock at the door and knew it must be Laura.

“Hey, Siam are you decent?”

“Yeah I guess,” I replied, wiping my face to try to hide the fact I had spent the last few hours crying.

“Hey doll? I think we need to talk,” she said as she walked slowly over to the bed, placing her arm around me.

“I didn’t expect the kiss,” at this I curled into a ball or tried to as she cuddled me and my head ended up in her boobs, even as upset as I was I had to notice that fantastic rack.

“But sweetheart I didn’t mind it.”

I looked up in shock at her and squeaked, “Really?”

She nodded and murmured, “If the tattoo wasn’t enough of a clue, I’m strictly girls only, and to be honest, I think you are pretty cute.”  I blushed and let her continue. “I know you are confused right now.”

I snorted and muttered, “Understatement of the century.”

“But,” she continued, “if you want to try this then we can. Moving at your pace when you are happy to go deeper.  Regardless of what happens, you will not lose me as a friend and it won’t affect our working together.” She held me closely and waited with bated breath.

I leaned upwards moving to a sitting position in her arms and got comfortable moving her hand to my tummy where I clasped it into mine. I paused for a moment enjoying the contact, “I don’t know what I am feeling or how to take this but I know I want you. Everything I was ever taught screams that I shouldn’t want you, but I do. I want you to take me out to dinner,  go out with me to movies, to cuddle me,  kiss me, do everything I was told a boy would do.  I even want you to drag me to bed and...” here I looked around embarrassed and nervous before whispering in a breathy voice through the shock and arousal that the thought caused. “Fuck me till I scream.”

She giggled at that and her hand began to caress my tummy under the baggy tee I was wearing staying above the waistline of my pj bottoms. I melted into the touch and just enjoyed being held by my boss, who was one of my best friends and at least for now; my lover. I moved finally after what seemed to be hours of this contact and got on my knees facing her. I kissed her slowly. This time was different; it was a choice, it wasn’t automatic.  It was slow, gentle, passionate and wonderful; me being the weaker partner in her arms, feeling safe. There was no pressure, no worries of right or wrong because there wasn’t any time for those. We kissed and kissed, not moving beyond kissing and gentle touching. Her hand staying on my bare back and my arms snaking around her neck.

I felt something I didn’t feel with the boys my parents approved of. Boys from church and awkward “dates” at church social functions, dances to records that were old when my parents first dated in dresses that were “appropriate” first, and attractive second, and boys who would either brag about their sports achievements preparing themselves for the title of Uncle Rico or Al Bundy in their forties. Or boys who didn’t know how to talk to girls or assumed that we were to bow to their every desire as they had been taught at home.

I wanted more, so much more, but didn’t know what to ask for.  Didn't know how to talk to Laura about sex and desire. Heck, I don’t know how girls do that kind of thing, it was never an option in the world I had left. I mewled into her mouth, frustrated. She giggled as I almost pushed myself into her lap. I kissed her more aggressively but she could tell I was tired and in the hyper stage of exhaustion. Laura tried to move when she laid me down to sleep but I was still curled into her, cuddling close so that she wouldn’t leave.

“Siam sweetie, you have to let me go, you need to sleep.”

I yawned and mumbled, “Please stay.”

She laughed softly, musically. “Come on then, we wont both fit on the guest bed.“ She picked me up and carried me in her arms into her room and laid us both down to sleep. Under the covers; me curled into her, my back against her chest, my head supported by her boobs, and her head leaning on mine as her arm curled around my hips and rested in mine. Lulled by the soothing sound of her heartbeat I drifted into a very pleasant sleep.

Faere Warrior: Passion's Price Pt 2

Hope you are enjoying your first taste of Passion's Price.  It's a little different from Love Notes, but more along the lines of my usual writing.
An element of danger and intrigue always lies just below the surface.  People are seldom what they present themselves to be on first impressions. It  takes time to get to know the real person behind the mask, and time is often the one thing we don't have to invest.

Remember, this is a first draft.  It's not had the inspection of a professional editor and all things are subject to change at the author's discretion.  What the author doesn't change may in fact be changed by an editor.  By the time this goes to final publication the only thing that may remain constant is the author.

I'm going to pick this up with the last few paragraphs from before. Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Passion's Price Pt 2

Keegan mounted his bike, then pulled Selena into his arms, half laid across the front of his Dukati. Their kiss deepened, as Keegan slid his hand over her breast. Salena moaned into his mouth.
“Come home with me.” He whispered hoarsely.
“OK.” She kissed him back aggressively, biting his lip, then holding it between her teeth, pulling back before releasing. She slid out of his arms and straddled the bike behind him. Her arms wrapped around his waist. “Let’s go.”

He parked his bike in his designated spot and carried the helmets inside, Salena walked in step beside him. The walkway crossed over the highway below, and ended in a small lobby area on the second floor. Keegan took a sharp left after reaching the lobby area heading down the hallway to his room.

"It's only temporary, I'm lookin' for an apartment, but just arrived in toon a few days ago."  He keyed the door, flipped the light switch and opened a mirrored door. He set his helmets on the top wire shelf, and hung his jacket on the hanger.  He did the same for Selena's jacket.

Salena glanced around the simple efficiency unit, noting that it didn't look like anyone was staying there and wondered if he was military.  Before she could ask, Keegan had her pinned against the wall, kissing her deep, demanding.

Salena practically melted at his touch. Once she recovered from the initial shock to her senses she matched him move for move.  Their tongues battling for dominance in their wet dance as he clasped her hands above her head pressed into the wall. She was lost in him: his scent overpowering her, his touch igniting flames of passion that she hadn't felt in a very long time.

Keegan pressed into her body, his hard lines against her curves, a coiled heat lurking, barely restrained.  He kissed a trail up her jaw line.  Salena gasped as his knee parted her legs then pressed into her mound.  Just then he sucked her earlobe, causing an electric sensation to short circuit any rational thought she may have had before that moment.

Keegan found himself on his back, pushed down on the bed, Salena laying on top of him, kissing him with a demanding passion that made him realize, he may have gotten more than he bargained for.  He smiled, satisfied that he'd finally met a woman who wasn't shy or timid.  He had yet to meet a woman who could fully satisfy his desires.  Tonight, that might change.

He rolled Salena under him, pinning her with a firm hard kiss, as her hands roamed over his body.  "Aye, ye're a hot one aren' ya?"

She merely moaned as she lifted up pressing her mouth to his  pulling his head down. Soft mewling noises mingled between them as they explored and undressed each other.

Keegan kissed a trail down her toned body, kissing at the defined lines of muscles on her abdomen, kissed her hip bones, the tendon at the top of her thigh, then paused just above the heart shaped patch of pubes, glancing up at  her with half lidded eyes.

"Do you want this?" His tongue flicked once over her clit.  Salena made a quick gasp.

"Yes" Her breath was hoarse, barely above a whisper.

His tongue darted out again.  "Then ask me for it."

"Please lick me, suck me, make me come in your mouth."

Never had a woman spoken so boldly, letting him know exactly what she wanted without much more coaxing.  As he dove between her legs, determined to make her cry out multiple times before he moved on to other activities, Keegan knew this girl was different.  Not just the attitude, but there was something else; something provocative.  Something that dared him to give in to baser desires he'd held in check.

Salena was lost in her desires.  After the first orgasm, she surrendered to the overwhelming lust she'd held back for so many years. She didn't know why this guy got her so hot. There were many nice looking men that were muscular that had wanted her over the years.  Why this one?  Why this red haired Scot?  After the third orgasm she didn't care.  She'd do anything for him. She'd let him do anything to her. She would fulfill his kinkiest dirty desires if he would just keep this up.

After five orgasms Keegan moved up her body, rubbing his cum soaked face over her abs as he went before he kissed her roughly.  "Wow!  I knew you were hot, but I never expected how much."  He positioned his head right at her junction.  "Are ye ready for me lass?"

She nodded, breathing hard, anxious for the sensation.

    "Ask me for it."

"Please."  she had to take a breath. "Please give it to me.  All of it.  Everything.  Please Keegan."

Hearing his name on her lips was sheer heaven to him. He pushed slightly, slowly, prolonging the sensation. His tongue invading her mouth in similar movement. Slow and tender soon gave way to wild and frenzied.

Many hours later, Keegan sound asleep in the bed Salena glanced at her lover.  He was the best she'd had in centuries, but she couldn't stay.  She could never stay.  She quietly dressed and slipped out the door, leaving him a quick note.

You were the best I've ever had!  You are amazing.  Hope I'll see you again soon.  Had to leave to go to work.
                                    Salena

With one final glance back at her sleeping lover, she pulled the door until she heard the click. She dashed back to her car, then to her house, telling herself this changed nothing.

Faere Warrior: Passion's Price

This week begins a new story.  I hope you enjoyed the heat between Stephanie and Rob in Love Notes.  This is a little different tale, one from a current WIP series. I think you'll find the same level of heat and passion, if not a little more with the added elements of danger. Enjoy!

Faere Warrior: Passion's Price

Keegan pushed through the crowd to the bar. It had been a rough flight getting here, there were problems with his rental, and the hotel staff had given away his suite. When assignments began this way, he knew he was in for a rough ride. He ordered himself a beer and spied a table in the corner with two open chairs. It was only a matter of time before that worthless Faery Lee showed up.
Lee was the contact from the Light Court of the Faery Realm that upheld the contract between the mortal and Fae Realm. Keegan and his brother Kyle were chosen for the responsibility to defend the portals into the humans world, because their clan’s land held two of the portals, one of them being the standing stones near the old castle ruins near Dunbarton, and their father was the merlin. Keegan had no knack for wizardry, but he was a fierce warrior.
The Light Court monitored things from their side, while several humans monitored the human realm. Each of the royal houses of Faery were in charge of certain regions where portals connected the two realms. Leevander, being first prince to the house of Euthoria, had a vast range of portals that he monitored.  All Euthorians were telepaths. It was one of their special talents. They were very sensual beings, sexually heightened and often sought pleasure with whatever human they chose.  Lee was an arrogant fuck on his best days, a worthless piece of shite on all the rest.
Keegan moved to the small table, his back against the wall assessing the room. As he scanned, he noticed most were college aged. There were a few that more than likely were under aged on fake ids, but that wasn’t his concern. There were so many bodies gyrating on the floor, it was hard to make much distinction.
The hard driving beat of the band reverberated through the floor, pulsing through the chair. Dark Horizons was a great band, better than most he’d heard recently. The lead guitarist rocked, and the vocals were exceptional. The woman that belted out “Break me out of this hell” would be gorgeous, if she’d cut back on her stage makeup. The male singer wore more black eyeliner than she did, and he looked as though he hadn’t seen daylight his entire life.
Keegan drained his beer, just as a server walked by. He motioned her for another. When the girl returned, she gave him a sly grin and sat a napkin down with her number on it. Option 1 for the evening. He grinned as he put the napkin in his shirt pocket.
“She’s hot.”
Keegan nearly choked as Lee appeared beside him. “Dibs, she gave me her number, not you fuckwad.”
“I could easily persuade her.” He shot Keegan an arrogant look knowing it was no challenge.
“Sure. Sad that you have to trick ‘em.” He waved his fingers in front of Lee as if performing some magical spell.
“I wouldn’t have to use glamour. She’d be mine if I chose it.”
Keegan took another swig of his beer. The arrogant prick. He was probably right, without using glamour it seemed women threw themselves at Fae. They must emit some base pheromones or something. “Yeah? Well why don’t you shut off your emitters as well. That pixie dust or whatever the hell it is and see how far it gets you.”
Lee leveled him with a glare. “Jealous?”
“Of you? Pfffft. That’ll be the day.” He took the napkin out of his pocket and tossed it to Lee. “’Ere. She’s no my type anyway.” He took a swig scanning the females in the room. “I prefer the dark haired beauties myself, and one a bit taller than my waist.”
Lee swirled his glass of yellow liquid before chugging it. Another magically appeared in front of him.
“Damn, man. The least you could do is cover mine since I’m risking my own bloody neck for ya.” Keegan said as he stared at the glass.
“Fine. Typical mortal, whiny little girl.” He waved his hand and a new bottle of Bud light sat in front of Keegan.
“Girl eh? So even girls can kick your sorry arse.” He downed the second beer. “Pro’ly a wee bairne lassie culd.” He chuckled, remembering his sister biting Lee’s leg at the age of 3. She latched on like a pit bull and brought the man to his knees, literally. “Aye, Bridgi got the best of ya, di’nt she?”
Lee slammed the glass down. “Enough mortal swine.” His jaw was clenched, anger roiled off him like a heat blast. “We’ve business to discuss.”
“Aye. ‘Bout time you got round to it.”
“The portal’s been breached.”
“Isn’t it always.” He took a swig as he turned towards the stage and noticed a dark haired woman in a slim black skirt, and a ruffled multicolored blouse. He held the beer to his lips but didn’t drink. He just sat there staring at her for a few seconds. As she danced, she turned so he could see her face.
“Business, then I’ll see that you have your chance with her.”
"I don’t need any Fae help.” He set the beer down. “The portal’s breached, somehow it got opened and I have to send them back. Same song, same steps, different club. I know the routine.” He slid down from the chair.
Lee grabbed his arm. “There’s more. Whatever is going on the Dark Prince is furious, and threatens war.”
“He’s always threatening war. Really he needs to grow a pair.”
“Keegan. This is serious business.”
He looked at Lee’s fingers clasped on his arm. “I’ve got this. I send them back we seal the portal. Same dance steps. Really, it’s getting old. But I see a real challenge right over there. I’ll catch up with you later.”
He walked towards the woman as the song ended. She walked off the opposite side of the dance floor. Keegan kept her in his sight. He wove through the crowd, straining to keep her in his sights. She stopped at one of the small tables and slammed the rest of her glass down, then hugged her friend and turned to leave. He had to move quick. He hastened his steps as he moved towards her, and nearly knocked her over as he bumped into her ‘accidentally’.
“I’m sorry lass, I di’nt see ya there as I was headin’ out.” He clasped his hands around her firm slim arms. “Are you alright? I din’t hurt you did I?”
“No, I’m alright. It’s OK.” She looked up into his eyes irritated.
“Can I buy you a drink? Make it up to you?”
“I was leaving.” She replied expressionless.
“Can I buy you a coffee? I was just leaving myself. Got a busy day tomorrow, and weel, I havena hit it off with anyone all night. Then I nearly knock you over. What you say lass, humor a visitor and let me buy you a cup of coffee?”
She crossed her arms. “Well actually I was going to go get a bite to eat. I came with my friends straight from work.”
“Great! Where would you like to eat lass?”
“Denny’s has great omelets.”
“Perfect. I love breakfast foods.” He pushed the door open to allow her to go first. “Are you OK with riding my bike?”
“Sure. Not a problem if you have an extra helmet.”
The “breakfast” was shared, sampled between the two meals, with both ordering orange juice. They conversed easily and soon were touching, sharing a light kiss. They held hands as they left, leaving over half their food behind.
Keegan mounted his bike, then pulled Salena into his arms, half laid across the front of his Dukati.
“Let’s go.”
